FTA (free to air)

Not any FTA channels are premium channels like HBO or Pay Per View, etc. But still there is quality programming to be found. And the variety of broadcast and the number of different satellites are what makes FTA satellite viewing an interesting hobby for so many that have this knowledge.

These FTA channels remain up and are broadcast in the clear and are not subject to Dish Network, Direct TV or any other satellite or cable provider. As these channels are not encrypted by anyone and their providers have chosen to air them unscrambled or unencrypted.
